Python Job: Senior Python Engineer

Job Description
A global, fast growing analytic solutions provider is looking forward to adding a Senior Software Engineer to their team for a full-time role. They have been around for more than 20 years, and their mission is to help top-tier companies adapt to the rapidly changing/evolving world of data.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working with other engineers and teams to improve their platform by designing and implementing solutions and build new products for their clients. This is a heavy python role and a hybrid opportunity (going to the office in NYC 2 days a week).
Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of formal professional experience as a developer.
• Proficiency in Python, MySQL/SQL Server, MongoDB, RESTful APIs, Flask, Docker and Cloud computing.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
• Mastery of data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to present complex design from requirements.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with Linux/Unix, GitHub, R, Statistics/linear regression, Jenkins, Ansible, Systems Architecture, AngularJS, React, Node.js and JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiar with Jira, agile development process, and story mapping.
• Agile learner and growth mindset with curiosity for learning and growth.
